Any official document from the Republic of Turkey must be Apostille certified in order to be valid in Azerbaijan. Some points should be paid attention to in Apostille-certified documents.

1. The student ID must be stamped and signed .

2. The signing officer must have a signature in the Governorship system. Therefore, when you apply to the university for a document, be sure to state that the document will be apostille . At the same time, ask for the document to be signed by someone who has the authority to sign.

3. Apostille is issued in the district (district) governorships or governorates in Turkey. Apostille is not issued at a notary in Turkey.

6. Send the apostille-certified documents to Azerbaijan. Documents sent by PTT arrive in Baku within 10 days.

7. Have the translation of documents certified by notaries in Azerbaijan

8. Submit to the relevant Military Commissariat.

9. As of 01.01.2024, the process of certifying Student Documents at the Turkish Education Ministry has been suspended, so it is not necessary to certify apostilled documents there.
