What is the UETS Form?

ptt1.jpg

The National Electronic Notification System (UETS) form is a mandatory document required by the Migration Office for all types of residence permit extensions. Under Turkey's Notification Law No. 7201 and Electronic Notification Regulation No. 30617, any notices sent through this system are considered officially delivered to the citizen, who is then legally responsible for them. For instance, if the Migration Office issues a deportation order or cancels your residence permit, they will notify you through this system. There is no longer an obligation to locate you personally to deliver the notice. Once you are informed, the Migration Office can proceed with further legal actions if necessary. Therefore, it is advisable to check your notifications at least once a month after receiving your UETS form.

How to Obtain the UETS Form?

The only institution issuing UETS forms is PTT. You can receive the form in about 15 minutes by presenting the following documents at a PTT branch:

  1. a) Your passport

  2. b) Your residence permit card

  3. c) An active email address

You can also obtain the form through e-Devlet, but your mobile number must be verified in your e-Devlet account. Only users with two-step verification enabled in e-Devlet can access the document online.
